Jackson Springs park

This was a great trip i thoroughly enjoyed hitting rocks with the miniature pickaxe. I found quartz and hurt myself hitting at the feldspar. I never knew how much fun making rocks explode was. I might no have gotten out of this lab what was supposed to be, but i gained a new respect for people who do this for a living and the people who work at a quarry. I would do this again because it was loads of fun. The park was inherited by the community and became an issue because of desegregation. This was also an interesting fact that was learned
