Ocmulgee National Park

On our trip to the Ocmulgee national park. We went on a nature walk through the woods. This was cool, saw a snake and other crazy random objects in the woods. Learned about some trees and got to jump in a little ditch that had a cool stream wearing away at the sides of it. Then we went to the meeting mound. This was amazing to think that back then they were able to live underground , somewhat. this mound was amazing however the doorway is tiny even for me and i'm small.

This is from Dr. Rood's blood sugar experiment. He ate candy and drank soda to force his blood sugar to spike. After about 15 minutes the blood sugar did spike but it quickly tried to work it's way back to equilibrium. over the course of 45 minutes the blood sugar went back to normal however it went below the starting point before getting back to the starting point. This was regulated by negative feedback to keep the body in homeostasis.

12 Soil Orders

The 12 soil orders was presented by this great detailed website http://soils.cals.uidaho.edu/soilorders/
The most interesting of the soil orders would have to be the oxisols. This is because of having being on the tropical places which is some of my favorite places to go and the fact that it is not red clay makes it all the better to me. I love the tropical weather and there is nothing wrong with the dirt on the islands
